Kaufusi could miss Origin 1

Storm back rower Felise Kaufusi has been charged with tripping and may miss Game 1 of Origin for Queensland if he cannot prove his innocence at the judiciary this week.

The incident came in the 74th minute of last night’s win against the Broncos.

Kaufusi appears to lash out at Broncos hooker Jake Turpin whilst attempting to make a tackle on Tevita Pangai Junior.

Due to prior offences, an early guilty plea will still see him miss a week.
