The 3-2-1 Report – Round 9

1 Point – Bryce Cartwright’s quick injection

I’m not sure what the record is for coming in as a replacement and scoring a try but this would have to be close.

2 points – Cowboys v Broncos

The Cowboys 19-18 win on Saturday night was the 5th time in the last 7 years where the game was decided by 1 point.

These 2 teams just love to entertain.

Add in the return to his best from JT, a workhorse effort from Payne Haas and Herbie Farnworth in a losing side, and this was another game for the classics between these 2.

3 Points each – Josh Addo-Carr/Tom Trbojevic

You just really do love to see performances like these.

The Fox being the first player in 70+ years to score 6 tries in a match, while Turbo scoring or setting up 6 of his own.

Turbo’s performance will statistically go down as one of the best of all time (sitting in the top 5 Supercoach as well), but for anyone watching it was special.

Every touch was dangerous.

Moustache of the Week

Refs don’t ever get much love from footy fans.

But you can’t not appreciate Peter Gough for this fabulous mouth merkin.

#BIGBOYSZN

Big Boys doing Big Boy things.

Just when you think you couldn’t love Big Papa anymore, he goes and breaks the line and grubbers through for his teammate.

While not resulting in points, it did give them a repeat set so have to respect it.

The Hand of Feldt

How did Kyle Feldt score this try?

Nah seriously how?

He’s absolutely just taking the piss here.

Try of the year contender.

Thoughts and Prayers

All the best to Broncos fans.

Suffering a 1 point loss to rivals Cowboys on Saturday night would hurt.

Waking up the next morning to news one of your best and shining lights of the past 2 years is off to the Storm would hurt even more.

Joining an ever-growing list of players to leave the club, Xavier Coates confirmed to teammates on Sunday morning that he will be leaving next year to join the Storm for 2 years.

Ouch…
