Souths sign Mundine
The Rabbitohs have beaten out up to 6 other NRL clubs in the race to sign Anthony Mundine’s son CJ.
Playing for the Dragons SG Ball side in 2019, a team his father played over 100 NRL matches in the late 90’s, CJ also played for the Matraville Tigers in the Souths Juniors A-Grade compe alongside his 43-year old Dad.
“CJ is an outstanding prospect and we’re delighted to know he will be learning his trade at South Sydney,” Rabbitohs GM Shane Richardson told NRL.com’s Brad Walter
“He has shown plenty of promise in the junior representative grades, he had plenty of interest from other NRL clubs for his services, and we couldn’t be happier to see him pick the Rabbitohs as his club of choice for his career development.”
