Munster: Will he play Origin?

Queensland and doubts on a player being fit for Origin. Name a better duo.

Plenty of debate around Munster and if he will be ready to go come June 9th for Game I, with the star five-eighth declaring “If I don’t get picked by Greeny, I’ll be right for the Titans game”

Now there is no way he gets overlooked for Origin and lines up for the Storm the Saturday before Origin.

So he either lines up for the Maroons after over a month off of footy, or he doesn’t play at all.

“I started running two days ago. I ran two days straight and a bit of change of direction stuff so all’s well and good at the moment” Munster said on YKTR’s ‘The Scope Podcast’.

One of his challenges is the Storm staff with Munster revealing they aren’t happy with the possibility of suffering further damage in Origin sidelining him even more.

“Frank and the coaching staff aren’t holding me back, but they have told me where they sit and that’s me not playing or being in camp. They’re pretty strong on that”

“They don’t want me playing one game for Origin and be out for them for a month”

“I can see where they’re coming from and I appreciate their honesty”
